Step Back Into Colonial Times

Fourth graders were invited to step back in time with a visit from a Native
American woman (Mrs. Speake as Speake Loudly) and a Colonial woman
(Mrs. Darroch as Jane Smith).  Using a Reader's Theater, the narrators
(11students) asked the "visitors" questions about clothing, homes, baskets,
transportation, and other items used during colonial times.
